Does God Lie?

I truly feel I have been touched by an Angel many times in my life. Below is one way my Guardian Angel, as well as other Heavenly Angels, have entered my life and my thoughts . . .

But, didn't He tell us that He is in us and that we are in Him? Didn't He tell us that, through Him, we can do ALL things? That, through Him, we are all powerful? He did, didn't He?

Yes, He did. And yet there are times when we don't feel powerful. Times when we've felt close to despair. Times when hatred, anxiety, anger were an enormous part of our life. Right?

Especially while you are feeling negative feelings, you wonder where God is, right? Some cry out, "If God is in me, why can't I do this?" Some think that if Jesus could do this, why can't they. After all, they are God's child, also.

We've all been there. We've all asked, "If I can do all things, why is this happening?"

Well, here's the deal. God doesn't have negative feelings, so when you have them, guess what. You are pushing Him away. How can He help when you are pushing Him away? God won't go where He is not wanted.

Let's think about that for a moment.

Why wasn't Jesus desperate?

*** I mean, if anyone had reason to be desperate, I would think it would be Jesus as he was nailed on the cross. ***

But Jesus wasn't desperate, because he loved God and had faith that everything always turns out according to God's will for us. He knew there was no reason to feel desperation.

Think about this: These things are happening because we are not honoring the Godself within us. We are not honoring the love He has bestowed upon us from the very beginning. We are, in effect, refusing to feel His love when things go wrong.

Yes, you do have all these powers that God has given you, plus much more that you don't even know about, and even more that you can't even imagine. But when you push God away, you push your powers away, also. How can you change that?

You can change it by spending time every day getting closer to God.

The more time you spend with God, the more your thoughts are Godlike. The more your thoughts are Godlike, the easier it will be to access God's power that He has bestowed upon you, AND the more you will know exactly what to do with it.

It is there for you, you just haven't learned how to unlock the door to your heart where you've kept God. The heart that holds unconditional love.
